There is nothing quite like the start of a new year to make me reflect, clear out, find inspiration and make plans.

If you are doing the same here are a few links that may interest you:

To recycle your Christmas cards and support the planting of new woodlands take them to WHSmith, Tesco and M&S stores by 31 January.  The Woodland Trust will commit to planting 15,000 new trees.

To recycle your unwanted household items that are not suitable for donation to your favoured charity shop, consider giving them to someone in your local community.  Freecycle aims to keep items out of landfill – to find an online group near you enter your location into the box.  We have 8,910 members in the Malvern Hills network!

To find new woodland walks in your area The Forestry Commission has a great search facility.

To find a college course in your area, be it an evening class or post-graduate course, there is a another good search facility on the Hotcourses site.

Finally, two things that have inspired me so far today – a short video entitled 'Masterpiece' by Stephen Covey and this quote by Guy Insull.

"If we carefully consider what we would like other people to say about us, we will find our definition of success".
