The panels for my latest large square lampshade are stitched and cut. Each panel measures 40cm x 40cm so it was tricky manoeuvring them under the machine needle. I had one casualty which had to be remade as the paper buckled, but other than that it went quite well.
Thankfully there were no mishaps with the cutting out….
and they are all lined up ready for construction which begins after lunch!
The client who commissioned this was inspired by these drum shades,
