You can give your old-fashioned wall lights or sconces
a new lease of life by treating them to some
contemporary shades. Sarah's signature half-shade is
ideal for single-arm wall fittings, whilst her C-shaped
shields are designed for double-arm wall lights or
sconces.

Sarah can design and create a set of shades
especially for you from layers of stitched and cut
plant-fibre papers which co-ordinate with your
existing room scheme. She is happy to work from
swatches of wallpaper, paint or soft furnishings
as reference and offers a friendly, personal service.

What makes them extra special

The patterns are stitched and cut by hand making each a little work of art in its own right.
Each shade in a set can be slightly different ensuring each is unique.
The curvy single-arm shade can add impact to an otherwise insignificant light fitting or wall sconce.
The C-shaped shield can hide the often unattractive plastic candle giving a contemporary look.
Choose from brass-, chrome- or black-painted finishes to co-ordinate with your light fittings.

Wall shields measure 15 x 10 x 6cm and cost Ł70 per pair.
The curvy half-shade measures 20 x 23 x 8cm and costs Ł90 each.
These prices include colour matching, design, consultation/advice and UK postage and packing.

Both styles have candle-clip fittings and can be used with 60W candle bulbs or the equivalent
low-energy bulb.
