In the Spring 2008 issue of the National Trust Magazine there is news of a specal Hellebore Day taking place on 16 February at Blickling Hall, Norfolk.  The Dell Garden, a sunken woodland area, created in the second half of the 18th century, has been transformed with the planting of 500 Helleborus orientalis hybrids and thousands of spring bulbs.  Rather more than I have in my garden!

Further to my last post I wouldn’t recommend cutting Hellebore flowers for your vase, mine didn’t survive for long.
