This week’s flower in my vase is a stylishly simple white (I am guessing it is ?).
I don’t usually pick daffs from the garden as I love to see them growing in swathes, but these stems had been knocked over by the weekend’s hailstorm.
I love their purity and freshness.
And the almost iridescent silkiness of the petals.
The genus has around 150 bulbous perennials and there are four national collections of in the UK.
