Why not take part in the world’s biggest survey of garden birds this weekend? The RSPB first asked its junior members to count the birds in their gardens back in 1979 and now 30 years on over 400,000 people take part.


All you have to do is spend one hour this weekend watching and counting the birds that land in your garden or local park.  Record the highest number of each species you see at any one time and submit the information at
