It’s great to see Sue Lim back from her travels and re-opening her lovely gallery and coffee shop Blue Ginger with a fresh lick of paint and exciting new stock.

There are colourful mixed media embroideries by Gilly Mound from Worcester decorating the end wall,

her little rows of stitched houses seem perfect for

Lynn Muir’s delightful hand-painted driftwood ladies.

There are some new pieces by Tamsin Abbott of Bishops Frome

in illustrated stained glass

and some stylish scent bottles by LoCo Glass of Cirencester.

Meryl Till’s ceramic lamps create a cosy corner

and a selection of Richard Goodwin-Jones’ Raku ceramic boats have sailed in.

I delivered three map drum shades, two French ones atop my new Alex Wilkins’ bespoke lampbases

Marseilles-shade-on-Alex-Wi   Rouen-shade-on-Alex-Wilkins

and one of Queensland Australia in soft sandy hues atop a turned oak lampbase.

The Gallery looks bright and spacious, little vases of daffodils decorate each table and visitors today were tucking into Sue’s famous savoury muffins.

Blue Ginger is open Wednesday to Sunday 10am until 5.30pm and is located at Home End Farm, Stiffords Bridge, near Malvern, Worcestershire WR13 5NW

Be sure to pop in and see the wonderful things Sue has brought back from her trip.
