It’s bitterly cold outside today here in the Malvern Hills, so I didn’t hang around out there for long.  I’d spotted these from the window so whizzed out with my camera and scissors in hand.

Tiny little blooms of Viburnum tinus tinged with pink against a cloudy white sky


make a pretty and delicate display indoors.



The pink slowly fades as the flowers develop leaving a froth of white petals.

You can see a national collection of Viburnum at Hyde Hall, the RHS garden near Chelmsford in Essex.

Snow flakes are falling …….
