Over the past 16 years living in Malvern I must have spent many hundreds of hours here, on my local common.
It is the place where I taught our first dog not to chase sheep, waddled round when I was heavily pregnant, pushed my boys in their 3-wheel buggy, helped them learn to ride bikes, watch school sports day, kick footballs, collect conkers, go sledging, enjoy the view,
chat a lot and now see our new puppy discover the big wide world.
I love it that the wild flowers, grasses and bracken are left to grow and set seed, before being mown flat again. I love how it changes through the seasons.
I particularly love the fact it is on our doorstep.
