My final show of the year is at the Weavers Gallery in Ledbury – one of the top ten Christmas shopping ‘cities’ in Europe, according to The Guardian. Featured alongside Copenhagen, Vienna, Lisbon and Amsterdam, the market town of Ledbury is up there with the big boys! What further reason do you need to visit?
Now in its 10th year, Designed for Christmas has always been a lovely way to end the year – a mixed exhibition of wonderful contemporary craft with jewellery by Ali Tregaskes and Jocelyn Perry, wire creations and miniature shoes by Jo Dewar, batik by Marie-Therese King, baskets by Jenny Pearce and stoneware pottery by guest Katie Gamble. Plus, of course, my map shades, appliqued paper shades, wall lights and table lamps.
Each day two makers will be on hand to tell you anything you’d like to know about the products on display and help you choose that special gift. We look forward to seeing you.
