Thanks for the feedback everyone. Allison – I did laugh, no they are not my shades. I included them here because they too are inspired by nature and I love the way they have been photographed. They are printed designs (mine are stitched and cut) and surprisingly they were all designed and made by different people/companies. They’re from a 2007 issue of Elle Decoration. Sarah x

Hi Sarah -it’s so fabulous how your inspiration board really reflects what you do -this is a gorgeous piece. Your sensitivity to color shows and I like the images of the holiday ornaments you included -it really helped me visualize what you are drawn too -how reflective they are and how they seem to sparkle with rich color tone. I really admire what you do and your sense of craftsmanship.
Oh this board is so fun to look at…so many things to draw me in. Love the floral lampshades!! You can tell you’re very creative.
